Step 1: Lab Tests: Levels for the 4 sex hormones (estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and DHEA-S) should be tested. You can have this done through a blood test ordered by your practitioner (often covered under insurance), or via a saliva test available at South River. Saliva test kits can be purchased at either store or online. Just take the kit home and complete it, seal the box and drop in any UPS box. Results are sent to South River and we will notify you once they are received.

Step 2: Personal Consultation: Once your lab results are in, you will be able to meet with one of our Pharmacists to review your detailed health history and the results. Step 3: Compounded Prescription: Our pharmacy staff carefully prepares each prescription according to exact standards. Your prescription will be ready for you approximately 1 business day after receiving approval from your practitioner. The pharmacist will answer any questions you have about the prescription and how you should take it.

Step 4: Follow-up: We want to make sure you are doing well, are comfortable with your prescription, and are seeing results. Our Patient Care Coordinator, Pharmacy, and Sales Staffs are here to answer your questions. As your symptoms subside and you experience changes, it may be necessary to adjust your prescription. A 30-minute consultation to evaluate follow-up hormone testing and current symptoms will indicate what changes to make.
