As President of South River Compounding Pharmacy Baylor Rice is a second generation pharmacist with an impressive track record as a compounding pharmacist and health professional. He has been a licensed pharmacist since 1994. After earning his degree at the Medical College of Virginia, he worked in community pharmacies. In 1998, Mr. Rice and his wife opened South River Compounding Pharmacy, Inc. His vision of treating each patient based on their individual needs and using a team approach by working together with the patients’ practitioner has proved to be quite successful with positive outcomes for the patients. Baylor believes that knowledge is a powerful tool and his goal is to educate people so they can actively participate in their own best health outcome.
25+ years of experience as a pharmacist who loves the challenge and problem solving to provide the best custom medication to patients in need.
35+ years of experience as a pharmacist whose goal is to dispense custom medications that ensure positive patient outcomes while maintaining the highest level of integrity and ethical standards.
10+ years as a nationally certified pharmacy/lab technician now serving as Patient Liaison between patients, physicians and practitioner liaisons to coordinate a seamless prescription process.
17+ years as a certified pharmacy technician who moves between the lab, packaging station and patient intake to insure patients receive their custom medications in a speedy manner.
3 years as a certified pharmacy technician who helps prepare patient medications in the lab at SRCP’s Henrico VA location.
15+ years as a nutritional consultant guiding patients one-on-one to optimum health
5 years as a lifestyle educator guiding patients to nutritional supplements most suited to their health needs.
40+ years as a certified pharmacy technician serving as a customer service specialist who jumps into the pharmacy to help package patient medications when needed.
